2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Performance
The Wrangler Unlimited comes standard with a 285-horsepower V6 engine, though a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 270 horsepower is also available. This engine uses mild electric power assist to improve fuel economy without sacrificing the power and performance that matters most.
The Wrangler Unlimited handles well and has a plush ride quality, as well as remarkable composure that minimizes body roll and lean through tight turns. Like the standard Wrangler, the 4-door unlimited is an off-road dominator that comes with skid plates and part-time 4-wheel drive that’s perfectly suited to any environment. The Unlimited can also tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Interior
The 4-door Wrangler Unlimited seats five people in heavily padded comfortable seating. Both rows have ample head- and legroom and excellent visibility, even for adults in the rear seat. The interior materials are a blend of durable surfaces and soft fabrics, giving it an upscale feel.
In the cargo bay, the Wrangler Unlimited can accommodate 32 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats up, which expands to 72 cubic feet when folded. This is more than enough space for luggage and sporting equipment, such as a snowboard or a bike, as well as a full load of camping equipment.
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Technology
The Wrangler Unlimited is equipped with the Uconnect® infotainment system, which is one of the most intuitive and advanced on the market. It comes standard with a 5-inch touchscreen, though an upgrade to a 7- or 8.4-inch touchscreen is available. Bluetooth® connectivity, satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration use the infotainment system’s capabilities to the fullest, ensuring you’re always connected and entertained on the road or trail. Navigation and a sharp Alpine premium sound system are also available.
A rearview camera is standard, though a full complement of safety features is available to keep you safe and protected. Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is a system that gives you a full view of your blind spot and alerts you to other vehicles to help you prevent a collision, for example, and other advanced features provide additional alerts to avoid collisions.
