2019 Ram 1500 Classic Trim Level
The Ram 1500 Classic features this pickup’s famous design and showcases its dependable performance. So, which one of its trims is the right one for you?
To help drivers in Somerset, New Bedford, and Fall River decide, Stateline Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram looked at each one in this 2019 Ram 1500 Classic trim level comparison.
2019 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman
The 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman is the base trim. It’s powered by a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine that gets up to 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. This design also features Variable Valve Timing (VVT) to improve both its power and efficiency.
This trim sits on 17-inch wheels and is available in three cab sizes: Regular Cab, Quad Cab, and Crew Cab. It is the only trim to offer an 8-foot truck bed. The other two bed sizes that’ll find it in are 5.7- and 6.4- feet long.
It also means you’ll have options for your interior. Depending on what cab you select, you’ll have room for between two and six passengers. In each one though, you’ll be able to carry some cargo inside in a behind seat storage bin.
At the front you’ll find a standard 3-inch screen for your radio and audio system. A 5-inch Uconnect® 3 touchscreen is also available though. If you choose to upgrade, you’ll have the convenience of Bluetooth® and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio.
2019 Ram 1500 Classic Express
The 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Express is the next trim of this iconic truck. It also runs on the 3.6L V6 engine but makes 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine available. The optional powertrain is capable of producing up to 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque.
While this cab is also available in all sizes, it does not offer an 8-foot bed. With the Regular Cab it can only be equipped with a 6.4-foot bed.
2019 Ram 1500 Classic Big Horn
Moving up to the top trim level, we come to the large and powerful 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Big Horn. It stands taller on a set of bold 20-inch chrome wheels and boasts the 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine under the hood.
This trim only offers you a choice between the Quad Cab and Crew cab. The benefit to this is that it gives you a standard second row of seats and lets you carry more passengers.
In addition to the wheels and powertrain, the interior gets a big upgrade. You’ll now have a classy leather-wrapped steering wheel at your command, as well as an advanced infotainment system.
The Uconnect® 4C system features an 8.4-inch touchscreen display that’s compatible with Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, and makes HD® Radio and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio standard.
