2019 Jeep Cherokee Trim Levels
The Jeep Cherokee is a highly versatile SUV, with plenty of options to choose from. Stateline CJDR is breaking it down for Somerset, New Bedford, and Fall River drivers. There are five different 2019 Jeep Cherokee trim levels: Latitude, Latitude Plus, Limited, Overland, and Trailhawk®.
Each 2019 Jeep Cherokee trim level comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission, but there are three engines to choose from.
A 2.4L Tigershark® Multiair® 2 comes standard on Latitude and Latitude Plus, as well as the Limited trim level with 4×2 drivetrain. This offers 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque. Plus, you can get an EPA-estimated 22 MPG city/31 MPG highway.
The rest of the trim levels—Limited 4×4, Overland, and Trailhawk®—come standard with a 3.2L Pentastar® V6 engine. This motor generates 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough power to tow up to 4,500 pounds when properly equipped.
Want more responsiveness? A 2.0L Turbo is available on every trim level except the Latitude, for 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Plus, the fuel economy rivals that of the 2.4L engine.
Your wheels say a lot about your new SUV. The 2019 Cherokee comes standard with the following wheel options:
- Latitude: 17-inch steel
- Latitude Plus: 17-inch Satin Carbon aluminum
- Limited: 18-inch painted/polished aluminum
- Overland: 19-inch polished aluminum
- Trailhawk: 17-inch painted/polished aluminum
The adventure-ready Trailhawk also gets rugged exterior features like red tow hooks and all-terrain tires. Meanwhile, Limited gets a power liftgate for easier loading and unloading of cargo. Overland adds hands-free access to its power liftgate.
In Latitude and Latitude Plus, your view from the cockpit includes a 3.5-inch high-resolution cluster display. This provides easy access to plenty of information about your vehicle’s systems. Limited models and above expand this display to seven inches.
Seating options also vary as you go up through trim levels. You’ll find the following seating trims in the 2019 Cherokee:
- Latitude: cloth seats with cloth inserts and bolsters
- Latitude Plus and Trailhawk: cloth/premium vinyl seats
- Limited: Leather-trimmed seats with Nappa leather inserts and bolsters
- Overland: Leather-trimmed seats with Nappa leather, Axis II perforation, and Nappa bolstering
Additional comfort features in Limited and Overland models include heated front seats. Overland also gets ventilated front seats to keep you cool on sticky summer days.
Standard on Latitude models and above, the Jeep Cherokee offers a media center with multiple ways to plug in your devices.
A 6-speaker sound system is standard on every trim except Overland. That’s because Overland comes with a 9-speaker Alpine® premium audio system, which includes a subwoofer and 506-watt amplifier for impressive sound quality.
As far as the infotainment system goes, Latitude and Latitude Plus come with a 7-inch display that uses Uconnect® 4. Limited and Trailhawk models upgrade to Uconnect® 4C with an 8.4-inch display, while Overland gets an additional navigation system.
