Jeep Compass Trim Levels
The Jeep Compass is built for taking on the trails ahead of you. Whether that trail is out on the back roads of Somerset, New Bedford, or Fall River or in the shadows of towering skyscrapers, it has the capability you need. That must be why you’re thinking about making it your next SUV. There is, however, one more thing to consider, and that’s trim levels.
The Jeep Compass has eight different trim levels, so it’s important for you to know what you’ll get with each one. It’ll make choosing the right one even easier. That’s why our team here at Stateline CJDR has created this guide to the 2019 Jeep Compass trim levels.
The Jeep Compass Sport is the base trim level. It comes outfitted with the standard 2.4L Tigershark® engine. It’s coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission and gets an EPA-estimated 23 MPG city and 32 MPG highway.
The Compass offers seating for five, and with standard Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, you’ll be able to choose your level of comfort. There’s also a 60/40 folding rear seat. When it’s flat, you’ll have 59.8 cubic feet of cargo space to fill up, so bringing all your gear on the next camping adventure will be even easier.
Starting with the standard 7-inch display of the Uconnect® 4 system, there’s plenty of advanced technology at your disposal. You’ll have the ability to stream your favorite tunes with the Bluetooth® streaming audio. Adding to that, the ParkView® Rear Back-Up Camera will make parking a breeze.
The Latitude is the first Jeep Compass trim level to include a 6-speed automatic transmission. It also features the AutoStick® Automatic Transmission, which gives you the option of manual shifting. It’ll bring you closer to the road for a more in-tune driving experience.
If you choose the Compass Limited or any proceeding trim level, you’ll get the comfort of heated front seats and the soft touch of leather upholstery.
The Jeep Compass High Altitude comes with the Uconnect® 4C NAV system, which adds an 8.4-inch touchscreen display and upgraded connectivity with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. There’re also advanced safety features. Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, as well as Blind-Spot and Cross-Path Detection are optional for the Limited and High Altitude trims.
Off Road Advancements
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk trim level adds upgraded off-road performance. Jeep® Active Drive Low 4×4 System comes standard. Rear axle disconnect allows it to switch between two- and four-wheel drive, which helps increase efficiency when 4×4 capability isn’t required.
It also comes with the Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System. It’ll allow you to choose from a variety of driving modes, so that the capability of this SUV is customized to fit your driving conditions.
Finally, Hill Descent Control is technology that’s exclusive to the Trailhawk. It works to control your speed when you’re heading down a steep incline. It can apply the brakes automatically, so you can focus on steering.
