Ram 1500 Power & Performance

There are four engines to choose from with the Ram 1500. The only question is, how much power do you need? 

The standard 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine generates 269 lb-ft of torque. The available 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine cranks out 410 lb-ft of torque and helps you tow 12,750 pounds when coupled with the available eTorque Mild Hybrid System.

You can also opt for the efficient hauling strength of diesel, with the available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6. It kicks out 480 lb-ft of torque and enables you to tow up to 12,560 pounds.

If you're hauling gravel, mulch, or lumber to the worksite, you'll be able to leave the trailer at home. The 1500 has a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds. Plus, you'll have unprecedented access to the truck bed, with the available Multifunction Tailgate.

Ram 1500 Trim Levels

There are seven Ram 1500 trim levels for you to choose from. It all starts with the streamlined strength of the Tradesman. The other available trim levels include:

• Big Horn
• Lone Star
• Laramie
• Rebel
• Laramie Longhorn
• Limited

If you're in charge of getting the whole team to the jobsite, every 1500 trim level offers a spacious Crew Cab configuration that boasts over 45 inches of rear legroom. You could also opt for the more compact Quad Cab with every trim level except the Laramie Longhorn and the Limited.

Blind Spot Monitoring with Trailer Detection is optional on most trim levels, but it only comes standard on the Limited. It will warn you when a vehicle is in your blind spot or alongside your trailer, so you can haul with more confidence.
